Hardwire Installation
If you plan to use a wall dimmer switch, you need to do the hardwire installation with a dimmable transformer, instead of the included power supply which plugs into a wall outlet, due to the voltage difference between the wall dimmer switch (110V) and LED light panel (24V). The inline dimmer switch (24V) is incompatible with a dimmable transformer.
If not used with a wall dimmer switch, a plug-in power supply (except a wall mount power supply) can be used to do the hardwire installation, but if a dimmer switch is needed, a 24V dimmer switch is required. You would need to splice the power plug from the power cord and connect it to the power source with a junction box or something similar. The wall dimmer switch (110V) is incompatible with the plug-in power supply.

The lights were easy to install. I like the 3 different light brightness, they gave me the right amount of light for the kitchen. We under mounted the lights and mounted lights on top of our cabinets to give them the upright effect. You may need to order an extra cord depending on the height of your cabinets. I would recommend this product.
Looking for something easy to install in small area that wouldn't generate too much heat. This worked perfect and the size profile is very easy to deal with. Great item and very bright.
Great light set. Easy to install after some logistics. I wish the color was a tiny bit warmer but it's not a garish white at all. Fantastic quality. Looked for a long long time to purchase some LED under cabinet lights before finally selecting the Lightkiwi. Dimmer is included and works quite well. Cool to the touch which was my motivation to remove my older halogen and xenon bulbs. Kitchen stays cooler now.
I love these lights. I purchased the transformer kit with the wall dimmer. The staff at Light Kiwi helped me trouble shoot. So glad I purchased these lights.
Installed this kit in December. The kitchen popped! What a huge difference these made. Worth every penny. According to some reviews regarding the dimmer switch, well, so far so good since December. Time will tell. I'll keep up this post....
