Great caps and a fair price

Great caps and a fair price. Used on landscape lighting... so far so good.

Work as described.

I used these for connecting the wires on my low voltage lighting. I was skeptical at first as to whether or not they would bite the wires, but was surprised to find I could crank down on them to the point where I could turn them no more. They are a foot above the ground and I have them with the wires down so no water can physically run into them. Time will tell as to how they hold out in the long run but as of now I would highly recommend them.

WAY TOO SMALL for 12 gauge wire!

I ordered three packages of these wire connectors for my low voltage lighting installation. I opened one pack and quickly discovered that there's NO WAY it would properly and safely cover the two ends of 12 gauge wire and the wire from the lighting fixture. It's just too small. I returned two of the three packages since I had already opened one. If you have a 12 gauge wire installation, BE SURE to order the next larger size connectors.
