Easy to work with due to the small gauge. Wire runs easily through cabinet edges. Also, the 12' extension is useful when passing behind a cabinet or jumping from one side of the sink to the other side cabinets. Easily runs through studs but keep in mind 2 important things: 1) protect the wire through the studs with nail plates if the wire is less than 1 1/2" back from the stud 2) do not run this low voltage wire in the same channel as regular 120V wiring as you will experience interference and malfunction due to the voltage differences. Keep both wires at least 4-6 " apart.

The barrel connectors make the interconnects simple; however, making the plastic shroud over each end smaller would be great. Drilling a 3/8” hole in a cabinet base makes for a pretty ugly install (as would cutting and splicing the wire, for different reasons). Even getting down to 1/4” would be a big step forward.

This cable was just the right size to connect my lights on each side of my sink.
